The Capital Region Miracle League
Board of Directors
The Capital Region Miracle League is led by a talented and generous Board of Directors who are working to improve the lives of children with special needs in the Capital Region.
Burke T. Adams, President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, is in charge of the normal daily activities of Capital Region Miracle League. He is in charge of the actual coaching and preparation of the games and sporting events played by the children and adults with disabilities. Burke T. Adams has been involved in athletics for over 50 years and has been organizing sporting events for children and adults with disabilities for over 10 years.
James Moore, Vice-President and Trustee, is in charge of long-term planning and assists Burke T. Adams in the daily operations of Capital Region Miracle League. He provides expertise on engineering and the building of the disability-friendly field. James Moore received an Associate in Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering from Hudson Valley Community College in 1989, received a Bachelor of Professional Studies degree in Architecture from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1991, and received a Master of Architecture degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1996.
Linda Baker, Secretary and Trustee, is in charge of Board of Trustee's meeting records and assists Burke T. Adams in the normal daily activities of Capital Region Miracle League, such as with the actual coaching and preparation of the games and sporting events played by the children and adults with disabilities. Linda Baker received an Associate in Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice from Hudson Valley Community College in 1998. Linda Baker also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Community and Human Services from Empire State College in 2005.
Daniel B. Adams, Trustee, is in charge of the legal aspects of the Capital Region Miracle League. Daniel B. Adams received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Philosophy from Boston College in 2000, his Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004 and his Master in Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School in 2004. Daniel B. Adams was admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2004.
Eric Wohlleber, Trustee, is in charge of the public relations aspects of the Capital Region Miracle League. Eric Wohlleber received a Bachelor degree from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications.
Fred Nero, Trustee, just recently accepted our offer to join the board. He has agreed to spearhead the construction of the Concession Stand. Fred Nero is currently Deputy Supervisor of the Town of East Greenbush.
Lisa Seney, Treasurer and Trustee, is in charge of the financial responsibilities of Capital Region Miracle League including, but not limited to, the writing of checks and keeping of records regarding the Capital Region Miracle League's financial status as well as the preparation of any required financial documents or forms necessary to be filed with any local, state, or federal entity. Lisa Seney received an Associate in Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Hudson Valley Community College in 2003, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood/Special Education from The College of Saint Rose in 2005, and is a candidate for a Master degree in Professional Education from The College of Saint Rose in 2007.
Dave Durkin will be assisting the Capital Region Miracle League in the preparation of any required financial documents or forms necessary to be filed with any local, state, or federal entity.
