Field Facts:
  • Jaime M. Adams Field Officially opened on May 16, 2009 with a ceremony led by Burke Adams and special guest, Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda.
  • Jaime M. Adams Field is the first multi-purpose special needs athletic facility in the United States to offer baseball, football, soccer and track and field.
  • Jaime M. Adams Field was designed to easily accommodate special needs athletes with wheelchairs, walkers and other physically assistive devices.
  • Jaime M. Adams Field was constructed out of special materials to ensure the health and wellbeing off all athletes, coaches and volunteers.
  • Jaime M. Adams Field features covered dugouts to provide shade and shelter from the rain.

Next Steps:

  • The Capital Region Miracle League is working to construct a clubhouse with handicap accessible bathrooms, concessions, storage and a press box.
  • The League also plans to install lights for night games.
  • For easier access, the League also plans to pave the parking lot.
  • A playground and family pavilion will also be constructed.
